Cleaning methods you can trust.

At Ride and Shine, safety is THE number one priority. Here are some important things to know:

  • I read the Care and Maintenance section of every seat’s user manual online before cleaning it (Every. Single. One.) and only use cleaning methods expressly permitted in the manual for your seat.

  • I only use the following cleaning products:

    • Vacuum

    • Microfiber cloth dipped in a mix of Dawn dish soap and warm water

    • Soft bristle scrub brush

    • Wood toothpicks for crevices

    • Fragrance-free laundry detergent (never containing bleach)

    • Washing Machine (where permitted)

    • Box fans for overnight air-drying

  • Seats are always buckled down during transportation.

Riley Kennedy

It’s me, I’m the team. It’s a one-woman show over here. I am currently a stay-home parent of two toddlers, and I enjoy stereotypical mom stuff like coffee, margaritas, random crafts, interior design and DIY projects, and silence. I was born and raised in Port Orchard, got a bachelor’s degree in English from Seattle Pacific University, and spent ~8 years working in corporate roles (mostly legal operations and contract management) before embarking on this career break to be with my kiddos. I started Ride and Shine because I know what it’s like to be a busy working-out-of-the-house parent without enough hours in a day. I would love to help you check a clean carseat off your to-do list!

  • Our services include pickup at your address, washing of the carseat (hard shell and fabric seat cover) and delivery back to your address by 8 am the following day.

    We also offer stroller detailing. If you have other baby/kids gear you want cleaned, reach out and we can chat!

  • First Seat - $60

    Each Additional Seat - $40

    Strollers - $80

  • Yes! You can schedule an appointment with 2 hours notice.

  • Pickups are between 4 and 6 PM, and drop-off is guaranteed by 8 am the next day. If you have different scheduling needs, send us a message and we can try to accommodate you.

  • We can take cash, Venmo, or credit card.

  • We do not reinstall carseats. We do deliver them to your doorstep bright and early, though!
